Contacts Permission (android.permission.READ_CONTACTS)

Our Service requires access to your contacts (using the `android.permission.READ_CONTACTS` permission) for its core functionality. This permission allows us to:

• Identify callers who are already in your contact list to allow their calls through.
• Verify callers based on mutual connections within the Intro network (if this feature exists).
• Enable you to manage your whitelist and call preferences effectively by selecting from your contacts.

We value your privacy: Your contact list is primarily processed locally on your device. When synchronization with our servers is necessary for specific network features (like mutual connection verification), we use secure, encrypted methods. We do not sell or share your raw contact list with unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.

Call Log Permission (android.permission.READ_CALL_LOG)

Our Service may require access to your call logs (using the `android.permission.READ_CALL_LOG` permission) to:

• Identify recent callers for screening purposes.
• Provide features like call history within the app.
• Improve the accuracy of our call screening service.

We value your privacy: Call log information is used solely to provide and improve the Service features. We do not share your detailed call log history with unaffiliated third parties.

Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), device type, operating system version, the features of our Service that you use, the time and date of your usage, the time spent on those features, unique device identifiers, crash reports, and other diagnostic data.

Use of Data

Intro uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• To improve, personalize, and expand our Service
• To understand and analyze how you use our Service
• To develop new products, services, features, and functionality
• To communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes (where applicable and consented to)

• To perform core functions related to call screening and verification based on your contacts, call logs, and network.

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
